YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. 鈥 On Monday, Oct. 5 at 8:52 a.m., 杏吧原创 students and employees were notified by text and email that the College received an anonymous bomb threat to the Rollins Campus Center (RCC). The RCC was evacuated immediately. In-person classes scheduled to take place on campus were cancelled for the remainder of the day.

The 杏吧原创 Police Department, under the direction of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and with the support of multiple local and regional agencies, was able to secure the campus and discredit the threat by noon. The RCC was cleared for re-entry on Monday at 12:10 p.m. The GBI is in the process of tracing the threat.
