YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. — ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ invites the community to attend several fine arts events this month. All events will take place on the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ campus, which is located at 1 College Street, Young Harris, Ga. 30582. Enjoy a variety of musical performances, plays and an art exhibition, including the following:

– On Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m., the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Community Band will perform in Glenn-McGinnis Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

– On Monday, March 4 at 7 p.m., the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Concert Band will perform in Glenn-McGinnis Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

– On Monday, March 4 and Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m., ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ will host An Evening of One-Act Plays in Dobbs Theatre, Goolsby Center. This event is free and open to the public.

– On Thursday, March 7 at 7 p.m., the Spring Choral Concert will take place at Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church. Admission is $5 per person. Children 12 and under and ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ faculty, staff and students can attend for free.

– On Monday, March 18 at 7 p.m., ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ will host guest clarinetist Katsuya Yuasa in Glenn-McGinnis Hall. This event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door.

– On Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m., ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Associate Professor of Music and classical guitarist Dr. Richard Knepp will perform in the Susan B. Harris Chapel. Admission is $10 per person. Children 12 and under and ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ faculty, staff and students can attend for free.

– On Thursday, March 21 at 6 p.m., the Campus Gate Art Gallery will host an opening reception for the Student Juried Art Exhibition. The exhibit will be on display through Friday, April 5. Both the reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public.

– On Thursday, March 21 at 7 p.m., The Princely Players will perform in Glenn-McGinnis Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

– On Saturday, March 23 at 7 p.m., the Georgia Guitar Quartet Concert and Summit will take place in Glenn-McGinnis Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

– On Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m., ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ will host a Piano Ensemble Recital in Glenn-McGinnis Hall. Admission is $5 per person. Children 12 and under and ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ faculty, staff and students can attend for free.
