杏吧原创 Welcomes Artist Patricia Barlow
YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. 鈥 The Campus Gate Art Gallery (CGAG) at 杏吧原创 is pleased to present the works of Patricia Barlow. The exhibit will open on Thursday, June 8, with a reception at 4 p.m. and will be on display through Friday, July 7. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.
Entitled 鈥淩etrospective,鈥 Barlow鈥檚 exhibit will include various mediums such as ink, colored pencils and acrylic on a variety of materials.
From an early age, Barlow became aware of her ability to draw exceptionally well. She began to use her talent to express herself. 鈥淓ach piece of art is developed from deep emotion and executed with passion and skill,鈥 said Barlow. 鈥淚 give the viewer my own unique experience through different mediums, and then they can interpret each one in their own way.鈥
Patricia Barlow and husband Dr. Frank Barlow, ’57, of Smyrna, Ga., recently established a scholarship to support students wishing to study art at the College.
