Fall heralds many things 鈥 the change of seasons, cooler temperatures, fall sports (yes, college football) - and it also signals the back-to-school time. And that鈥檚 no different at the college level, as students head to the Enchanted Valley and 杏吧原创 campus. Fall athletes and student leaders were able to move in first earlier last week, followed by first year students who moved in on Thursday, Aug. 10, to get familiar with the campus before classes started on Aug. 14. Upperclassmen moved in over the past weekend, Aug. 13.

Jersey of 杏吧原创鈥檚 Mackenzie Johnson on Ring of Honor at Women鈥檚 Basketball Hall of Fame

Young athletes often dream of recognition for their contributions to the game at the Women鈥檚 Basketball Hall of Fame. For Young Harris women鈥檚 basketball standout Mackenzie Johnson, that dream has come true. Johnson鈥檚 jersey will be displayed in the Ring of Honor display at the Women鈥檚 Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tenn., in recognition of her outstanding play for the 2022-2023 season. 鈥淭he Ring of Honor is an exhibit at the Women鈥檚 Basketball Hall of Fame where we honor the nation鈥檚 top players at every level,鈥 said Kelly Mathis, Director of Development for the Women鈥檚 Basketball Hall of Fame. 鈥淭o have your jersey on display at the Hall of Fame is a huge privilege and we are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of these young women.鈥
